Antonov Gallery

The Russian-made, AN2 Antonov aircraft was flown commercially in 1948 and was originally designed as a crop sprayer. Being made in at least 17 versions it had many other uses ranging from passenger transport, cargo carrying, parachute training and many other applications.

Some 20,000 were produced in the Communist bloc where it served as a general work-horse.

This aircraft was on loan to the Griffin Trust between the 8th February 1998 and 20th July 2002 from the Hawarden airfield.
